We are now accepting applications for Early Childhood Teachers & Classroom Aids. 

Teachers  must have a minimum of a CDA (technical certificate).  This would be a full time (30-40 hrs) and requires applicants to have previous classroom experience. Pay is negotiable.

Classroom Aids need to have previous experience in a child development class and/or caring for young children.  Applicants should be at least a seniors in high school. This is a part time position (15- 25 hours). Pay is negotiable and start date is immediate.

Responsibilities:

    1  Develop and deliver curriculum founded on the center's philosophies whilst following  

       childcare regulations and National Quality Standards

    2  Create positive learning environments including resources based on child-directed

        learning

    3  Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior

    4  Build good, open communication with children, families and staff

    5  Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior

    6  Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe

    7  Help develop teaching goals for the centre and its teachers

    8 Undertake administrative tasks as required

You will need:

1. 1Experience working in a childcare setting or providing care to young children
   

2. 2Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
   

3. 3Sound written and verbal communication skills
   

4. 4A good level of problem solving skills
   

5. 5Ability to complete a criminal history check
   

6. 6Clean medical certificate
   

7. 7A good understanding of child development
