We are proud to serve families in Greenwood, Indiana, conveniently located at I-69 and Fairview Road. Established in 1995, our center sits on 1.6 acres of mature grounds with a large fenced-in play yard, giving children plenty of space to learn and grow through play.

Our Commitment to Quality

For nearly 30 years, Adventures has invested in tools, resources, and practices that set us apart as a leader in early childhood education. We proudly participate in Indiana’s Paths to QUALITY™ system and were the first provider in Johnson County to achieve Level 4, the highest possible rating. In addition, we are Nationally Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), meeting the highest standards of excellence in childcare.

Programs & Ages Served
We care for children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
Our hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Highly Trained, Caring Teachers

Our devoted staff is the heart of Adventures.

• Lead Teachers hold at least a CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate), and many are pursuing higher education in early childhood through TEACH scholarships.
• All staff maintain CPR & First Aid certification and complete 20 hours of annual in-service training.

Nutrition & Meals We serve two meals and three snacks daily, all prepared in our on-site kitchen. Our kitchen manager is trained in safe food handling and child nutrition, ensuring healthy and delicious options every day.

Curriculum & Learning Approach
Adventures has developed its own play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with the Foundations to the Indiana Academic Standards (Birth–5).

• Teachers design lesson plans based on children’s interests and developmental goals.
• Each child has a portfolio to track growth and development.
• Families receive progress reports twice yearly, along with opportunities for parent-teacher conferences.
